HPDS
MISSION:
• To promote innovative, wholesome and pure halal food products, halal pharmaceutical products
and halal goods to muslim consumers.
• To introduce halal concepts, in accordance with Islamic law to food processors, retailers, the
pharmaceutical industry, the consumer goods industry and the agricultural production sector.
• To advise/train industry personnel on halal processing.
• To expedite halal product marketing and business development.
• To provide consultation services in research and development of halal products.
• To participate in domestic and international trade shows to promote Canadian halal products.
• To work in conjunction with international certifying agencies and Canadian government agencies
for harmonization of halal standards.
